A social app for rounds, scores, and shots. The hard part was keeping a live game and a map in the same picture.

Problem

Scorekeeping apps forget the social round, and social apps forget where the ball went. Golfers want both while they are still on the course.

Decision

Model the round as the source of truth: scores, shots, and players on one API. Draw shots on a Leaflet map. Use Socket.IO so a playing partner sees the update without refreshing.

Result

A round can be scored, mapped, and shared with the people in it — live, not after the fact.
